Alu Scratch Repair is part of the Innotec Alu Scratch Repair System and is a professional filler for repairing scratches on aluminium surfaces.

Alu Scratch Repair should always be used in combination with Alu Powder. Thanks to this combination the almost weightless filling mass will have the ideal hardness so that it will be perfectly sandable afterwards.

Alu Scratch Repair shows an excellent adhesion to almost all aluminium and metal surfaces (whether lacquered or not). After being applied, the Alu Scratch Repair should be activated with Alu Scratch Repair Activator in order to accelerate its curing. As a result, the product will be ready for further treatment or exposure after 2 minutes.

Both in automotive and industry, it happens regularly that aluminium or metal look parts or objects show cosmetic damage or scratches, e.g. light metal rims, roof rails, aluminium frames, stair railings, balustrades, etc. Almost all these damages can be repaired with the Innotec Alu Scratch Repair System.

Packaged in a handy 10g tube with cannula, Alu Scratch Repair is easy to use and dose. Thanks to the unique easy-close cap the tube can be opened time and again without a problem, and has a longer storage life.

 

The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. Clean the repair area using Repaplast Cleaner Antistatic (allow to evaporate for 5 minutes).

 

Method of use:
In a mixing cup, mix the required amount of Alu Scratch Repair with some Alu Powder (mixture approx 1:10) until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Fill the damage/scratch with a thin layer of the mixture (apply several thin layers if necessary) and use a spatula to smooth it. Wait 30 seconds, then spray a thin layer of Alu Scratch Repair Activator over the part repaired with Alu Scratch Repair. After this, hardening will take place within a few seconds.
